Symptoms

1: We are receiving errors when trying to deploy to a new environment. It says that one of my Smartforms events is referencing a Changed Rule.
2: We also receive an error that the SmartObjects are in Conflict.
 

Diagnoses

1: There is a reference that has somehow gotten disconnected.
2: There are smartobjects that exist on the target environment with the same System name as the ones being deployed.
 

Resolution

1: Rerun the smartforms wizard for the event in question to recreate the references. Also rerun the Smartforms integration wizard and refresh the Form if there is still an issue.
2: Click on the Smartobject in the deployment wizard, go to its Properties and right click System name to change the system name. Everything deployed correctly after.
