Customer wanted to confirm that the issue mentioned in KB001671 was not applicable to their configuration.
Customer is using SharePoint 2010 On-Premises.

Resolution

You are correct. The only users affected by KB 1671 are those using SharePoint online, and the K2 blackpearl for SharePoint 2013 app.
Those using SharePoint 2010 will not be impacted by this change.
