When installing Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2005 on a 4.6.8 environment is Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2005 needed if the
Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 has been already installed.?

Also is it possible to confirm if the what exactly is the Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable used for as well?




 

Resolution

Version 2005 is not needed with 4.6.9. and only the 2008 version is needed as referenced below within the link providing the list of Prereq's. Also the report viewer allows reports to be displayed correctly within workspace as well, without this you will be unable view reports of this type.
