Symptoms

Unable to view Process Overview report on Workspace:
Exception of type 'SourceCode.SmartObjects.Client.SmartObjectException' was thrown.

The same error is thrown by any Workflow Reporting SmartObject on execution.
 

Diagnoses

On the host server logs, the 'WorkflowReportService' service instance throws a SQL Connection error on a service instance from a custom service broker. The back-end data source has already been decommissioned, thus the error. Deleting the SmartObjects under the service instance and the custom service instance will provide a more detailed error message: "SmartObject tDeleted_SmartObject] not found"

This SmartObject is still being referenced as a role item as shown on the eIdentity].]RoleItem] table.
 

Resolution

Delete the role item from Workspace.
