Symptoms

There are 4 process instances that are incorrectly showing as in an error state. In these instances the last stage is completed, the error shows up in an earlier stage, but they moved to the last stage and completed.
 

Diagnoses

One of the destination users was disabled in Active Directory, but not removed from the HR System where the destination users are pulled from.
 

Resolution

Implemented a check against the XML that goes into the destination user to verify that they are valid.
