When running SP2 to upgrade an existing K2 Server installation, I'm receiving an error:

Run Database Stored Procedures Upgrade (SP1A): SQL Error -2
There is already an object named 'kAsync' in the database.

The upgrade terminates at this point. I've tried deleting the kAsync stored proc in the K2 database to see if this would help, but it doesn't. How can I get the upgrade to run?
