Symptoms

A picker control is configured to get items from AD. When the control is configured to cache data (to use the form offline), it doesn't resolve the user when the form loads and saved data is passed into the picker. If the picker is set to not use cached data, it resolves fine.

 

Diagnoses

When a picker control is configured to cache data, the control does not resolve a user that is transferred to the control during an OnChange event (from another source or a hard-coded value)
