Symptoms
When a drop down list has the option 'Cache the data' selected, the view is note deployed correctly. While it works fine in the original environment when that solution is deployed to a new environment the drop down's Populate rule appears in an error/misconfigured state resulting in the list not loading data at runtime.

Known issue in Appit 1.2/blackpearl4.6.10
Resolution
Editing the drop-down control on the View/Form(in the destination environment), to remap the SmartObject binding, should fix this.
This is currently scheduled to be addressed in a future update.
