Diagnoses

PandampD tool is taking many hours to take packages from one of our DEV environments and this is impacting multiple projects. You end up having to leave it running overnight and even then it is not completing.

 

Resolution

In regards to this issue their could multiple factors in place that may be impacting this. Firstly check to see if the CPU tends to spike up and down, there could be a process in a looping state. You will need to contact K2 support for scripts to stop the running instance.

Furthermore you may try and increase the transaction timeout for smart objects via the sourcecode.smartobject.runtime.config file along with the command timeout to 120s.

This should speed up the package and deployment time.
