Symptoms

When attempting to create a package clie the below error after having selected the items to package and attempting to create it.

30003 viewservice has encountered an error ViewService has encountered an error
30003 Guid should contain 32 digit with 4 dashes (xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx)
30003 viewservice error

 

Diagnoses

This is a known issue and will be address in a future release.
 

Resolution

As a workaround please follow the following steps:

1. This could mean that there is a mapping problem between the form and views.
a. Remove individual views from the form and adding them back again. (remember to check in all forms and views
2. Remove all Datasource bindings from the List Controls (fastest way to perform this, would be to go to the properties area of the List Control.
Finish the View (notice that no error occurs)
3. Reconfigure the rules on the problematic view/form
4. Recreated the SmartObject (remember to use same GUID)
