Symptoms

P and D Deployment issue. When I login to our Deployment Server and try to deploy with the P and D tool to our new TEST server I get this error: “Method could not be resolved”. Note, our Deployment Server and Test Server are running K2 blackpearl 4.6.8. The P and D tool works between those two but not between the Deployment Server and the DEV server (v 4.6.9). See architecture drawing in the attached Word document, FYI..
Our new DEV server uses the same SQL server but it is running K2 blackpearl version 4.6.9. Is that what the problem is?
 

Diagnoses

Versions did not match across environments.

 

Resolution

All components need to be the same version across different Environments, this also includes client PC's where the Client tools are installed. If versions don't match, you will be seeing the “Method could not be resolved”.
