Symptoms

Three issues were encountered with the worklist control in smartforms:
1. After configuring Out of Office via the worklist control, the delegate was not able to see any of the relevant worklist items
2. After configuring an Out of Office Exception Rule via the worklist control, the delegate was not able to see any of the relevant worklist items
3. User was not able to configure an Out of Office Exception Rule via the worklist control, unless they were granted K2 server Admin permissions

Diagnoses

Support was unable to reproduce issues 1 and 2. In a meeting with the customer, we tested setting a different user as the Out of Office delegate, and everything worked as expected.

Support was able to reproduce issue 3. It seems the worklist control makes a call to retrieve a list of all deployed processes, but needs Administrator-level access to return that list. This level of permissions is NOT required when setting an Out of Office Exception Rule via either Workspace or the K2 worklist web part.

Resolution

The first 2 items were chalked up to a corrupt user account within the customer's development environment. This could have been corrupt at the Windows Profile level, or within K2 itself, or somewhere else not yet identified.
The third item has been associated to an existing bug report. This is slated to be fixed in the next release (4.6.10).
