Symptoms

On SharePoint List K2 application > Form Settings Throws an Error "Server Error Asynchronous operation failed Object reference not set to an instance of an object. "
 

Diagnoses

Client had a site deployed to Production K2 for SharePoint. When we navigate to a SharePoint list, choose K2 Application and then the Form Settings option. The following error is displayed and form settings does not load.

Server Error Asynchronous operation failed Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Resolution

Removing Ampersand (and) signs from the site/page name resolved the issue.
