Hi Ranjan,

I have gone through post before you shared before but it is nowhere mentioned on how many servers we have to install Nintex.  One server in farm or on all WFE servers.

I ran the actual installation from a WFE. Before deploying the solutions in CA I made sure the Workflow Timer Services is activated on the WFEs and the APP servers. When the actual deployment takes place, it seems to deploy to all servers in your webapplication with the Web Application service enabled.

I was quite confused because I assumed that you only install Nintex on the WFEs where your users connect to because that is where the editor will run. But Nintex is automatically deployed (I think) to all servers with the web appplication service started. You only need to license the servers where your users connect directly too.

I am not sure if I have all the facts right, but this setup works for me. Users connect to the WFEs to build their workflows and both the APP and WFE servers handle workflow jobs.

We install it on only one WFE, it gets deployed to all.

Hi Sanket,

Nintex installer will only have to be started on one of your WFEs. The installer adds and deploys a couple of SharePoint solution packages that will automatically be distributed to all necessary servers in the SharePoint farm.

Best regards

Enrico
