Not seeing drop down values in Update Item action

Hi All,

I want to update 5-6 fields in current item via Update Item action. One of the field is Workflow stage having dropdown value as "Pending with abc", "Pending with xyz" and so on. However, I am not seeing the dropdown values. Yes, as an alternative I can use lookup and by passing ID I can get it. But, that would put Join query internally by Nintex which may reduce my performance. Please suggest.

    that's the way how it works, AFAIK.

    you have to type the value in manually.

    and regardless of whether you type it manually or looks up for it, you have to provide respective item ID - see https://community.nintex.com/message/2165#comment-2165
