Symptoms

Running into a problem where not all of the SmartObjects are being published as endpoints. The problem is when two nested folders share the same name. For instance there is a folder for Test and nested within that folder is a folder called Test. The secondary folder's smartobjects are not published as endpoints.

Diagnoses

We saw a general error message in the hostserver logs which pointed to the "Testlist" SmO inside the folder having issues.

Resolution

We started to move the smartobjects out the of the parent-child folder that was having issues. By moving the smartobjects into it's own folder/category, the smartobjects would publish correctly as endpoints.

By moving the smartobject "Testlist" out of the parent-child folder, all smartobjects inside the folder in question would publish correctly to the endpoint properly.
