Symptoms

The error that is received is the following:

"The given key was not present in the dictionary.
 

Diagnoses

Under smart object administration within K2 workspace you are not able to assign the correct permissions to the user as you get the following error when doing so:

"The given key was not present in the dictionary"

What is the problem here ?


 

Resolution

To resolve this issue you can do this by accessing the smartbox smartobject admin under the farm name itself and not through the server names, this is by design.

After this you will be able action the correct permissions to the correct users as normal through smart object administration.
