Hello,


I've got the requirement to update a subsite when certain conditions are met (property in an Infopath document).


So I created a site template, a new Visual Studio Project with a SharePoint EventsProcess and wanted to add a SharePoint Sites and Workspaces Event Wizard.


In the wizard I specified the Sharepoint Site URL in the "Update Site" Wizard Page. In the following Site Settings tab the title, description, location and template can be specified, however I'm not quite sure what settings need to be specified here as the Select a Template is constantely greyed out. What settings do I need to specify here to be able to select a template?


Furthermore what site properties can be updated here anyway?

Ok, I think I have to rephrase my question.


As I do not think that a site or list / library can be "updated" with a different template what can be updated anyway - is it just the name of a list / site?


(if this is the case, a better solution in the update wizard would have been to hide the controls for templates instead of disabling them).
