Diagnoses

This error can be caused by several things, and is usually an indication that the k2 service or k2 blackpearl server is not running, or is unable to communicate on port(s) 5555 or 5252.

 

Resolution


1. Ensure the K2 service is running. Note that development licences do not run as a service, and can be manually started by selecting "K2 blackpearl server" from the start menu.

2. Verify that there are no firewall rules configured that would interfere with ports 5252 or 5555.
