Hello there!

We are seeing issues in publishing/ saving Nintex workflows for a particular user.

logs showing details:

Error saving from workflow export file.: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Nintex.Workflow.Publishing.Publish.SaveAWorkflow(String wfName, NWActionConfigurations configs, Guid listId, SPWeb web, ImportContext importCtx, SPContentTypeId contentTypeId, String changeNotes)
at NintexWorkflowWS.SaveWorkflow(String wfName, String activityConfigs, Guid listId, String contentTypeId, String changeNotes) (Build:3210)

We tried editing an existing workflow created by another user which is working fine for her. But when she tries to create a workflow on her own, not able to save / publish the workflow though she is using single Send Email action.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Soni

Just have a look at the Knowledgebase article: Error "Error publishing workflow. Object reference not set to an instance of an object." - Nintex Knowledge Base

Thank You Clavin.. but in my case the affected user is trying to publish the simple worflow with only 1 send email action and she is the only one getting this kind of errors as of we are aware of. And surprisingly it was fixed (we didn't do anything to fix it!) and she is able to publish workflows as usual since yesterday. But I'm trying to get to know the root cause for this so that we can prevent it from happening again.

Thanks,

Soni

@clavinfernandes How does configuring an already configured state machine fix the issue?
