We are planning to upgrade our Nintex workflow and forms version on production over the weekend. I was just wondering, in case if something goes wrong, is there any way we can switch back to the previous version ? Can we just reinstall the old nintex solutions and restore the nintex backed up databases to restore everything back to as it is?

Yes, you can install it with the old version of your installer. If you have not it, you can ask nintex support your specific version installer.
