Hi ,

I have a doubt regarding form.

Requirement- There is a travel request form, while filling it ,the person has to select the Approver from the drop down and when the workflow runs, mail has to be sent to that approver.

1. I created form , i use textbox and label.

when saving the form they are present .

but when i go to the list and click for new item the form is not having those two fields.

this has happened many times with me.Where am i going wrong in this case?

2. For the approver field ,the selection should be done using the dropdown values.

For this i created a approver lookup column and connected to text box value like this

Is this the right way? how to go about this?
