I'm very green, so parden if this is an easy one.  I'm using K2 blackpearl 4.7.

  • I've created a single table in a SQL Server database named "TestTable".  It has a simple id pk column and a description column.
  • I've gone into the K2 Management console, selected "Service Instances", and added a SQL Server Service pointing to by DB.  When I select "Generate SmartObjects", I see my table in the update tab, so I think this is working.
  • In K2 Management console, under Categories, I can't seem to find my SmartObject.  Same thing when I'm in Visual Studio.  I have no idea where it is.

Am I missing a step?

Does anyone know of a good place to find simple tutorials?

Thanks!
-Jeff
