Multi line columns and formatting in Workflow

Hi fellow Nintex Admins,

i have a multi line column in a list library and want to add this information in an email, that is send trough Nintex Workflow. Unfortunately, i get blank lines before and after the text. any ideas?

and logging before and after:

but it makes no difference.
