I've been asked to change a workflow so that their are two tiers of approvals.

 

The first approval is sent to a manager to approve/decline. Cnce its been approved, it must then go to the next step which is a Senior Director to approve. Can this be done in the same K2 Studio Workflow and how?

Your requirement sounds pretty standard from what you described so maybe there is more to it than what you posted.  Can't you just modify the existing workflow and add another Review activity below the first and connect up the Approved line to the new Review activity?


You may not even nee another activity dependng on your scenerio. You could change the destination for that activity to one at a time planning. THis means that if you have the line manager first and then the directory second in the list. It will wait for the line manager to action before, assigning the task to the director.
