Symptoms

 


When users respond to notification email with something other than defined actions (approve, reject, etc.) they receive another email from the system that their choice was not valid. How to modify the automatic response email template?
 

 

Diagnoses

 


All automatic notification and email templates are located in the folder:

 

>INSTALLDIR]K2 blackpearlHost serverBinTemplatesMessages

 

 

 

Resolution

 

 

 

To modify the email mentioned above please follow these steps:

 

 

 

1. Go to pINSTALLDIR]K2 blackpearlHost serverBinTemplatesMessages

 

2. Locate the template SmartActions.UnhandledError

 

3. Modify both the .htm and .txt files.
4. Restart the K2 service

 


Other templates in the directory can be modified as well.
