Memo field character limit 100 characters
 

Diagnoses

I am using a memo field for comments. I used memo over text so that I could get loads of characters but am for some reason limited to 100.

Is this a bug, what field type can accommodate for more than 100 characters...!?
 

Resolution

After some troubleshooting and configuration we were able to remove the fields in question and reapply them which appears to have fixed the problem. I have attached a document that explains how to work around the text limit issue using SharePoint column settings as an alternative solution to this ticket.
