With Nintex Forms for Sharepoint 2016 / Sharepoint Online, I am currently using a list lookup control connected to a SP list that could potentially exceed 65000 items.

Is it best practice to keep this configuration or Should I expect potential issues, such as display problem or long search delays ?

Thank you for your help.

It is always best to reduce the number of items in a single list, but sometimes that just doesn't work within each business situation.

The more items, the longer it could take for a query to be executed and, since 65.000 items is pretty much, could become a problem. Make sure to use Column Indexing on columns you are using in your query.
