Symptoms

When I create a managed metadata field as a drop down list control, I get the following error:
"SmartObject property TermStoreId is a required property for selected method GetAllChildTermsInTermSet. Value must be set."

This is the default settings for the form. What settings can I apply on the drop down list control to get my values to populate?

 

Diagnoses

When using Managed Metadata andgt Get All Terms In Term Set method in ?Configure Data Source? of the Dropdown list control, Term Store ID (GUID) and Term Set ID in the Input Mappings will need to be configured for the ?populate Drop-Down List list control with data? rule on the view or form.
These values can be found from SharePoint Admin Center.

 

Resolution

Configure Term Store ID (GUID) and Term Set ID in the Input Mappings for the ?populate Drop-Down List list control with data? rule with the appropriate values resolved the issue.
