Symptoms

When using workflow designer, custom Notifications will loose isolated
tags resulting in email format issues on redeploy. This is happening on K2 Blackpearl version 4.6.11.
 

Diagnoses

This bug is in regard to custom task notification emails losing formatting on redeploy. Repro-steps are below.

1.) Appify a list with views, forms, data, process, etc.
2.) Add a smartforms client event with originator as destination
3.) Notify participants > customize > delete everything except serial # line
4.) Finish wizard.
5.) Add place holder.
6.) Deploy > Fire off > Look at mail
7.) Look into XML and fire off ctrl + f for

8.) Find isolated instance.
9.) Drill into workflow and add set data field event and throw in some random data.
10.) Redeploy
11.) Drill into xml and notice
has been removed
 

Resolution
