Symptoms
A document library list view, generated with the K24SP app, with a list control bound to the GetDocuments method of the SmartObject (SP 2013).
When listing more than 10 documents with a total size of 10.8 MB the form hands (displays the loading gif forever).
On limiting the page size to 3 items, the form loads fine.
Diagnoses
The client was replacing the URL, pointing to the SharePoint server which caused the issue.
Resolution
Using the environment fields.
