Symptoms

I would like to copy the .kprx file to create a backup copy of a process within K2 for Visual Studio.
I could copy the file in Visual Studio and the file was created with the default naming convention "{file name} - Copy.kprx". However, when I try to rename this file, I get the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Diagnoses

I recreated the issue on my VM by creating a new process and opening it in K2 for Visual Studio. I then copied the process and tried to rename the copied process. The error surfaced and the issue was sent to labs.

Resolution

The Labs team logged a new TFS item for the issue and provided a workaround.

After you have created a copy, open the process and rename the process in the solution explorer.
