Symptoms

After database consolidation, all the old K2 databases are read-only (can't recall if the K2 DB Consolidation Tool did this or was it done by DBA) except K2WebWorkflow.

Can this database be taken offline and dropped along with the other old ones?

Diagnoses

Please see the "Considerations" sections of the Consolidation PDF file at KB article below:
http://help.k2.com/kb001628

5. All source databases are marked as Read-Only before the consolidation starts to ensure the integrity of the data, and will not be set back to write mode by the tool. If consolidation fails for any reason and the original source databases need to be brought back online, this must be done manually through SQL Server tooling.

9. The K2WebWorkflow database is a legacy database that is not consolidated. If present, the K2WebWorkflow database is not set to Read-Only.

Resolution

This database 'K2WebWorkflow' is a legacy database and is no longer in use. As such it can be taken offline and dropped along with the other old K2 databases as needed.
