I have seen something similar, the issue was caused by a corrupt profile config file. To rectify, try the following:

1. 
   
2. Ensure that K2 Studio is closed
   
3. Rename the K2StudioProfileConfiguration.config file in C:UsersYourAccountAppDataLocalSourceCode Technology Holdings, IncK2K2studio to config.bak
   
4. Open K2 Studio again, this should recreate the file.
   
5. if this doesn't work, check if the following file is properly formatted (make a copy and rename the copy to .xml, see if IE renders it without XML formatting errors)
   

If this doesn't work, I would recommend opening a ticket with support for the issue.
