Hi All,

We have a vendor how is requesting to add more webservices and even to add more item in the  web.config for their services to work.

"C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlWebServicesK2Services"

According to best practices is this a good idea? I am afraid is not the right place for their configuration file to be placed.

Any advise please?

I would have to advise against using the web.config for K2 Services. You're biggest risk is that if you ever upgrade, those settings are going to be stepped on since you are modifying a file that is delivered and part of the K2 product, the installer won't account for customizations to that file that are not part of our standard configuration.

The best approach would be to create your own website to host the custom services so that you have full control over the web config and any changes wouldn't have the risk of having a negative impact on the K2 Services, nor would you run the risk of an upgrade making changes to your own custom settings.
