I'm trying to load the VHD from a recent class at home. I'm running Windows 7 Premium Edition with Virtual PC and I can't get the VM to boot. I see the initialization messages, then the message "Windows is loading files...". After that, it just starts over.
Has anyone had any luck running this in this environment? If so, any hints would be greatly appreciated.
OK, I answered my own question.
I used VMWare Player to solve the problem. I had to convert the K2 VHD to a VMWare format, and then run it using the Player software. Both the Player and Convertor applications are free on the VMWare site. It seems to be running OK now.
Now if we could just get a more recent version of K2, including SmartForms, in a VHD... Well, it doesn't hurt to ask. :-)
