K2 studio which otherwise was working fine suddenly doesn't respond or rather doesnt fire up, although I can see the process running in the task manager. Tried rebooting the machine but no luck. Any ideas?

Check the Event Viewer for specific errors to K2Studio.exe
Otherwise.....
I would try to rerun the K2 BlackPoint installer and pick the repair option.
c:program filesk2 blackpointsetupsetup.exe
or
Since K2Studio uses WPF run a repair on .Net Framework 3.0/3.5
Last resort I would uninstall K2Studio and reinstall it.
