K2 SmartForms Controls - calendar control not filtering

Hello Guys
I am trying to filter a list by date. I am trying to filter it by if [date] >= [date] then filter.
It returns no values at all. Please see the screenshot. The top value is from the smartobject and then then date in the middle is a [now] expression and the last one is from an env field [current date and time]
Resolution
Bug was logged for this issue . Could not find a workable workaround . Client will resort to doing filtering via sProc
