K2 SmartForms and Worklist webpart are taking too long to load for the first user of the day. Subsequent loads are faster. What can be done to improve the performance?


 

Resolution

Issue: K2 SmartForms and Worklist webpart are taking too long to load for the first user of the day. Subsequent loads are faster. What can be done to improve the performance?

Resolution: Please see the attached PDF. In it you will find different ways to improve runtime. Also the time period is longer then expected because when you load the Smartform for the first time it calls the tokens required to interact with the K2 Server and unfortunately we cant speed this up at this time without writing custom code, in regards to the wake up script, this falls under custom code and it would be best to contact your local CAM on developing such a wake up script, if this is being requested.
