Symptoms

Our K2 Server was recently renamed and in addition, so was our K2 database.

After this occurred, I was attempting to change the sort order on Get List method for a SmartBox SmartObject that was created before the server was renamed, and when I tried to save, the spinning icon did not stop. I contacted our K2 Server Administrator, and upon further inspection, the log file shows it is attempting to contact the old K2 database. I have attached the error file.
Javascript error "Invalid XML" in the browser console.

Resolution

Issue is due to the special character of the smartobject property (and). If customer update the Date and Time Generated property to Data Time Generated, then the error does not occur.

We have opened a bug regarding this issue.
