Symptoms

We are facing a problem in opening K2 SmartForms for the mobile application. Attached the log that captured by k2 Mobile application. We are using k2 SmartForms version 4.11. We are using self-signed certificate for the K2 website https.

Currently we are able to login to K2 mobile application, view the task list and take actions but we are not able to open the SmartForms although the SmartForms are working successfully on the mobile browser. We tested the K2 mobile on android and IOS devices.

Diagnoses

1. had a look at the troubleshooting section at the following KB:
https://help.k2.com/kb001641

2. made sure the the firewall isn't blocking the connection form the App to the Smartform server: https://help.k2.com/kb001318 .
secondly try signing out completely from the App, start it again, sign in and test if the issue persists.
The last resort would be to uninstall the App, reinstall and try again.

3. then ran Seems like the issue is caused by an incorrect version of the SourceCode.Services.WebAPI dll. we run a smartforms reconfigure to install the smartfroms version that has application forms or they can deploy the attached dll to their environment. (4.6.11 smartforms version of the dll)

4. lastly we noticed an issue in the logs from the smartphone following: ?CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certificate path not found.

This means that the server does not have a valid security certificate, or the certificate has expired.

had a look at the new screenshots and logs added. An issue we seeing now is the following: ?CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certificate path not found.

This means that the server does not have a valid security certificate, or the certificate has expired.
did some digging around and found the following answer which needs to be done on the server side:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6825226/trust-anchor-not-found-for-android-ssl-connection/16302527#16302527

Please let us know if it works.
