Why dooes the K2 service account require Exchange Organization Management group permissions when all it needs to do is create and or disable mailboxes? Having read the Permissions PDF this seems rather more rights than are necessary. Surely Recipient Management should be sufficient.
Hi Kevin,
I have found a KB article that explains your query.
Hope this helps:

Thank you Yannick
The Permissions.pdf document I have appears to reference Exchange 2007 only. The How To that you supplied has a section on Exchange 2010 which indicates that Recipient Management is sufficient for the K2 Service Account.
Hi Kevin,
Did the documentation help?

Yes the information helped establish that the documentation supplied to us was for a previous version of Exchange. We shouldbe able to impletement the solution sing Recipient Management instead og Organization.
Hi Kevin,
Glad to hear it helped.

Yannick
