K2 Server - Configuration Fails

Diagnoses

When using the DB Consolidation tool 1.5 to consolidate dbs. The DB consolidation went fine, the user ran the tool and consolidated databases to a common database called K2.
Next step is to run the ReconfigureServer.ps1 powershell script. The user ran the script however when they would go through the reconfiguration of the K2 server they were getting the following error:
"The SQL Server database configuration test failed as databases of the wrong type exist: "

Resolution

Some relevant information regarding the reconfiguration step from the database consolidation PDF:

11. Select “Configure K2 blackpearl” and step through the K2 Setup Manager leaving all values as they were until you get to the Database Configurations panel.
a. If the PowerShell script was executed, the panel should correctly display the single consolidated database with the Status=Update.

12. If the PowerShell script was not executed, the panel will show the original databases. Select the database for the HostServer type (K2HostServer was the default) and click “Change”. Provide the value for the new consolidated database and click OK. The panel will now show the single consolidated database with the Status=Update.

*step 13- 17 may also be applicable for K2 Smartforms/Package & Deploy specifying the consolidated database during the database selection wizard

Customer was able to resolve the issue by modifying the connectionString in the "ReconfigureServer.ps1" to reflect the SQL instance and new consolidated database.
