Hi All,

 

We have one running process where forms are developed in asp and workflow was designed in K2.

 

Usually the process will start after clicking on the button which is on aspx page, But only in Few cases the K2 process instance id is not generating but the request is submitting successfully.

Out of 10000 records we seen 56 records where the process id is not generated, Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce the issue.

 

Can anyone suggest why the k2 is not creating an process instance id only on few cases?

Hi,

 

I'm not sure why this is happening, I would suggest to check the submission date of one of those instances and go back to the hostserver logs then check the logs of the same date, try to find any errors related to this issue or attach the logs so I can have a look them.

PS. Did you try to execute one of the workflow reports to make sure that the instance ID  is NULL?

 

Try to execute "Activity instance" smartobject to make sure.

I checked in process overview report, No record has been recorded for that particular request.

 

And I’m analyzing the logs, I will come back with the update.
