Symptoms

1) "K2 Package and Deployment" would add the new environment variables to the target environment library, but it wouldn't add same variable to the STRING Table. How do I get it to add to STRING table?

2) I can't find "K2 Roles" in the "Add Item" webpage. Can "K2 Package and Deployment" deploy "K2 Roles" to the target environment?

Resolution

1) The String Tables of the default environment will be used to provide the environment settings used during deployment of the package. For further help and information on this topic, refer to the K2 Environment Library White Paper (http://help.k2.com/en/environmentLibrary_Whitepaper.aspx).

2) Yes, P&D supports deploying Roles.
