Hello,

My company recently moved from SharePoint 2003 to 2007.  I'm currently trying to finish up a workflow that uses the "SharePoint 2003 Document" event.  However I designed this when we were still on the older version of SharePoint and now I've run into some issues.  I found the K2.net®️ 2003 Additional Components for MOSS 2007 (3.6340.1.0) but I wanted to make sure what all needed to be installed on the server to run the MOSS 2007 components.  Is k2.net required to be installed on the MOSS server where the components are being installed and if it is required why is it required?

Thanks in advance!

Nope you just need the K2.net®️ 2003 Additional Components for MOSS 2007 (3.6340.1.0) components to be installed on the MOSS server.  This is assuming that your K2.net 2003 server is on another box.

This installs the K2 web services that are used by the K2 server. e.g. when the process uploads a file, etc.  Check out the accompanying documentation for details.
