Symptoms


The K2 Mobile app no longer works for our users. When attempting to load the inbox, we get a "Sorry. Something went wrong error". By researching the K2 community, I founfd that this can be caused by running a repair on Blackpearl, but not on SmartForms or K2 for SharePoint. The suggested resolution was to run a repair on those components as well. We decided to run a repair on all three. We are still getting the error. The Android app works, but over 90% of our users are on iPhones. Any help would be appreciated.
 

Diagnoses


This was determined to be a problem with the way the K2Api site was hosted and which Application Pool was running the application.
 

Resolution

We were able to move the /K2Api application running under the Default Application Pool to the k2_net4 application pool (same application pool that the smartform designer and runtime site ran under) and perform an IIS reset, which seemed to resolve the issue.
