Symptoms


I built a workflow on Visual Studio and deployed it successfully. The workflow included a Data Field, "Instance ID." I need to pass this value into the workflow from a submit form, where I will use the "Start a Workflow" action rule. However, when I try to configure this rule, the following error comes up:

"There are no items to display. Either the process has been deleted or you do not have the required process rights to view it."

I double checked the workflow that I deployed, and I definitely have an 'item.'
 

Diagnoses


It looks like a reference or something was lost.
 

Resolution

1. Went into workspace and deleted ALL of the versions of the workflow
2. Went into VS and in the SmartObject Association wizard page, checked the "Enforce SmO GUID Integrity" and clicked the Synchronize button
3. Redeployed
4. Tried to configure the Workflow in SF again.
