Symptoms

Experiencing a major problem with K2 for Visual Studio 2013 since upgrading to 4.6.11 where it crashes when attempting to add a Reference to an SmO or edit an existing reference on a workflow.
 

Diagnoses

When attempting to edit a reference Visual Studio looks like it is iterating over all of the SmartObjects in the solution.

It would appear that the cause of the problem is when developers have very large solutions 30 projects with many SmOs and Workflows in the solution.


 

Resolution

Issue were reproduced and coldfix was provided to client.
