Symptoms

After deploying the app and successfully registering it, app cannot be activated, the activation page is stuck on the "Working on it..." stage. Using IE F12 tools is is possible to see the following error in console:

SCRIPT5022: Sys.ParameterCountException: Parameter count mismatch.
File: ScriptResource.axd, Line: 45, Column: 12
 

Diagnoses

There is a known issue in certain scenarios with old builds of K2 for SP 4.7 app which may lead to such problem, contact K2 support to obtain to updated version of K2 for SP app (refer to internal issue ID 703754). Before installing updated version you have to remove old version of an app following the procedure below.

K24SP2013 Clean up Procedure for 4.7

1. App Catalog Level - Uninstall app from the Site Content page
2. Navigate to the "Apps for SharePoint" page
3. Click on the ellipses for the app and Remove/Delete the K24SP app
5. Navigate to Site Settings > Recycle Bin
6. Empty Recycle bin
7. Click on link to Secondary Recycle bin
8. Empty Recycle bin there as well
9. Upload new App to Apps for SP Page
10. Add App to Site Content and Run registration
